How to play
Get the frog from the bottom of the screen to one of the five lily pads at the top. First cross the road without being hit by traffic, then cross the river by hopping onto floating logs, because falling in the water costs a life. Fill all five pads to move up a level.

Lives and checkpoints
You have three lives. Losing one sends the frog back to the furthest safe bank you have reached, so once you are across the road you restart from the riverbank rather than the very bottom.
Scoring and levels
Each frog that reaches a lily pad scores 50 points. Filling all five gives a level bonus, and each new level makes the traffic and logs move about 10% faster.
Tactics
- On the road, commit as soon as there’s a safe gap. Waiting for a perfect opening usually means facing the same traffic again.
- On the river, timing matters more than speed. Hop when the log in front is lined up with you, and watch for a log carrying you toward the edge of the screen.
- Aim for an empty pad. Hopping into a filled pad, or onto the bank between pads, costs a life.
About the game
This is an original game in the road-and-river crossing style that became an arcade staple in the early 1980s, with its own design and graphics.
