Summary
- There are no accounts on Fiddlepop, and you never need to give your name or email to use a tool.
- Anything you type into a calculator, generator, quiz, or game is processed in your browser and isn’t sent to us.
- The site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and Google AdSense to show ads. Both use cookies, described below.
- We don’t sell personal information.
Information you enter into tools
Calculations, random results, quiz answers, and game play happen on your device. Values such as a bill amount, a date of birth, a weight, or a loan balance are not transmitted to our servers or stored by us.
Information stored in your browser
The site uses your browser’s local storage for two things: remembering whether you chose light or dark mode, and saving your best score in each game. This information stays on your device, isn’t sent to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited, roughly how many people use the site, and general information such as the type of device, browser, and approximate region. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this. We use the reports to decide which tools to improve and add. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites with Google’s browser add-on.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of personalized ads from some other third-party vendors at aboutads.info/choices.
- Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see ads, but they will be based on general factors such as the page you are viewing rather than your browsing history.
Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Where the law requires consent for cookies or personalized advertising, such as for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, consent is requested through a consent message provided by Google, and you can change your choice at any time. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it collects through its advertising services.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you send are delivered to us by a third-party form service, Web3Forms, so we can read and reply to them. We use these details only to respond to you and don’t add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information through the contact form can ask us to delete it.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools will still work.
- Use the opt-out links above for analytics and personalized ads.
- Clear the site’s data in your browser to remove saved scores and your theme choice.
- Contact us to ask about, or request deletion of, anything you have sent us through the contact form.
